Our certification journey dates back a long way…
In 2004, Bureau Veritas Italia S.P.A. awards us the ISO 9001:2015 certification, attesting that our organization management system meets the required standards for the production of neutral or customized fabric bags and shoppers, and for the sale of neutral and customized paper and plastic bags.
This first important step is followed by the achievement of another relevant certification in 2009: SA 8000:2014. On this occasion, the certification body has thoroughly reviewed every aspect of the company’s management system through a rigorous process, verifying its adherence to international organizational standards.

In 2014, we reach another significant milestone by obtaining the FSC® – Forest Stewardship Council – certification for environmental protection and responsible forest management.
2018 marks a turning point for our commitment to increase environmental sustainability. First, we obtain the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Certification, issued by Bureau Veritas, attesting the company’s ever-increasing commitment to reducing the impact of its production activities on the environment.

Next comes the GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard – certification, which declares that the company is committed to responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector, using organic cotton for some of its products.

In 2019 we receive other two important certifications. The first one is the BCI – Better Cotton Initiative – certification, which guarantees the quality and respect of the cotton used for our products throughout the production chain, which respects the environment and the people who work with it. The second one is the “TÜV SÜD Erzeugung EE” certification, attesting that the energy we use to make our products has been generated through the use of renewable sources and that production can be traced back to a clearly identifiable source.
Firmly believing in the possibility of giving new life to textiles deemed to be waste, commit ourselves to the production through recycling, and in 2020 Sacchettificio Toscano obtains another important certification, issued this time by the Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification ICEA.
This is the GRS – Global Recycle Standard – which certifies manufacturing activities and processes aimed at producing and selling products made from at least 70 percent pre-consumer and post-consumer recycled materials.
